• Commonly known as 'The Lenten Rose'.
• Formerly known as Helleborus orientalis.
• These can live for up to 50 years, once well established in your garden.
• These are available as a selection of mixed coloured young plants ready to add a touch of their bashful beauty once they grow on.
• They have nodding flower heads and can have clear, spotted or picotee markings.
• Their foliage is dark green and fingered, making an excellent groundcover during the spring, summer and autumn.
• Make sure all thie old leaves are cut off before the winter so that when they bloom, their beauty is not initially hidden by their foliage.
• This also prevents Hellebore Black Spot, which is air-born and overwinters on the foliage.
• They prefer cool, hunus-rich soil in partial shade.
